Laboratory services in the Centre are conducted for the fulfilment of State Health Supervision function in accordance with Act No. 258/2000 Coll. o protection of public health and subsequent Regulations, grants or research projects. Laboratories conduct monitoring of environment in relation with public heath pursuant to statutory Order No. 369/1996 Coll.
Laboratories are built as laboratory network, where samples are collected in each of places marked in the map, and moreover in special subsidiaries for sample collection and delivery. One of our subsidiaries was founded in Prague to fulfil requirement of flexibly collect samples and enhance clients abroad from the whole European Union through airport and other transporting destinations in Prague.

All units of the Centre are allocated into specialised and well organised departments, subsidiaries with business administrations, facilitating to our customer demands:

For the consideration according to the pricelist of Centre of Hygienic Laboratories of Institut of public health Ostrava are provided the following special and laboratory expertises for other health care facilities (hospitals, medical offices, pharmacies, health resorts) and for other external customers (companies, foodstuffs companies, importers and exporters, geologists, municipalities, etc.)
The analyses are provided using advanced instrument equipment; continuous improvement of qualification of specialist personnel is supported.
