Biocide efficacy testing
In our testing laboratory ZL 1554 accredited by the Czech Institute of accreditation (ČIA) according to ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025 perform testing of disinfectants and antiseptics in accordance with standards of EN 14885. These are mainly quantitative tests using a suspension (phase 2/level 1) and quantitative tests on a carrier (phase 2/level 2).
We do not only test finished biocidal products, but we also offer screening tests for testing new substances, mixtures and finding their effective concentrations or contact times.
We will be happy to test products of type 1 – 5 (PT1 – PT5) for the following areas:
- healthcare
- veterinary care
- food , industrial, domestic and institucional
We also offer testing of the antimicrobial properties of material surfaces according to European standards, especially plastics, textiles and ceramics.
We offer consultations regarding testing options and suitable tested microorganisms.
In our insitute there are three laboratories specializing in tests with different types of microorganisms. These laboratories work closely together so that we can offer the customer the most comprehensive range of services.

What is the procedure for ordering and performing tests in our laboratory
- Decide according to which standards and what conditions you want to test.
- product concentration, test temperature, contact time, conditions of use (interfering substance) - link to request forms
- Contact the laboratory staff according to your chosen testing area.
- Based on your requirements, a price quote with an approximate testing duration will be sent to you.
- After the signed price quote and sample are delivered to our laboratory, an advance invoice will be issued.
- Testing will begin after the advance invoice is paid.
- After the tests are completed, we will send you a preliminary report for review.
- After your approval, we will send you the final report and final invoice
